Hamilton’s FREE Supercrawl is back for it’s 6th year and it’s looks very encouraging as the first wave of artists were announced today!

Headlining this years event is Austin indie rock band, Spoon! Who are fresh off their 2 shows (1 secret) at North By Northeast (NXNE) this past weekend. Also on the bill is Jessy Lanza, Four Tet, How to Dress Well, Walkman frontman, Hamilton Leithauser, Eight and a Half, Kode9, Ikonika, DJ Spinn, Scratcha DVA.

The FREE 3-day festival runs Friday September 12 to 14 on James Street North.

2014 marks the sixth anniversary of what has become Hamilton’s largest festival. This year Supercrawl expands to three nights, taking place on September 12, 13, and 14 on Hamilton’s James Street North.

Last year saw over 100,000 visit the city’s downtown core to take part in Supercrawl. Festival headliners Passion Pit performed to over 50,000 people on the Hamilton International Airport Main Stage.

Supercrawl is an annual event that celebrates the creativity and energy of Hamilton’s James Street North district, our multi-disciplinary arts community, and the incredible spark that results with our unique mix of cultures, businesses and creative people.

Supercrawl and its organizers have won numerous awards at both the Hamilton Music Awards and the Hamilton Tourism Awards.
