The Best Indie / Alternative Songs of 2016

After an entire year of listening to thousands of submissions and running neck and neck comparisons, we’re proud to present our annual playlist that features 50+ of the best indie / alternative tracks for you to jump and down about! There are some artists who you will recognize (ex. Chvrches, BROODS, Wild Nothing, A Tribe Called Red), but there’s others who might be brand new to you (ex. Yessica Whoaneil, Chris Staples).

Listen at any time of the day / night, with or without headphones, over lunch, on the bus, at work, or while entertaining and check back often because we’re adding more songs once they become available on Spotify! Songs like ‘All My Friends’ by WHOOP-Szo (as heard on ’14 New Songs To Make Your 2016 Undeniably Better’).

Add a comment below if you like what you hear or if you think that song should be included in the playlist! :)

Listed alphabetically by artist (except for the first four songs)
