From Montreal comes the Band, The SUUNS. Know of them? Seen them live? Well now is your chance to get to know them and see them as they’re on their North American Tour & they’re stopping in London at Call The Office. Opening for them is Toronto Band, The Darcys! A band who you may have heard before as they have an excellent catalog of music. They are also performing as a part of the Arts & Crafts’ Field Trip Festival this summer at Fort York & Garrison Common. Both bands played at Canadian Music Week (a couple weeks ago). The SUUNS got rave reviews from their performance at Lee’s Palace in Toronto – The Darcy’s were selected for a secret show much to the delight of the crowd at The Great Hall.

SUUNS:
I would classify their sound as, “Alternative Dream Rock”. Meaning, they have atmospheric layering with textures that take you on a musical journey – not to ruin your ear drums but to improve them! Their album, “Images du Futur” which I’ve had a chance to listen to is gaining a ton of attention here in Canada and also in the US and Europe.

Check out SUUNS latest video for track, “2020”.

The Darcys:
The Darcys – a talented quartet that have a collection of ear-catching songs. From BAEBLE: “With a mix of lightly distorted guitars, melodic, instantly catchy riffs, drum beats that propel songs forward to rewarding climaxes, and light keyboard touches that give tracks depth and substance, The Darcys are showing that they are here for the long haul.”
