Los Angeles-based musician, Andrea Silva has a lovely new sound and an upcoming EP in early 2017. She’s traded in her synth for a guitar and some soothing folk vibes – and we’re not upset about it at all! Sure, the Columbian-born musician’s song, ‘Away’ ended up on our Best Songs of 2015 playlist, but we’re psyched for this new direction, especially after seeing and hearing the acoustic rendition of her new song, ‘Wrong’ (seen below).

Silva, finger picks a beautiful melody as her voice floats over and through the delightful folk-spirited lullaby. The artistic direction of the video for ‘Wrong’ gives off a very subtle nostalgic storybook grainy vibe that’s similar to Enya’s video for ‘Book of Days’ and honestly, I love that – Enya is the best.

Watch Andrea Silva’s acoustic video for her song, “Wrong”.

Before you check out Andrea Silva’s galloping original version of ‘Wrong’, make sure you listen to an additional beautiful song that will appear on her upcoming album. Listen to ‘The Fall’ below.
