Party Supplies Tough Love Indie Underground

When you’re getting ready for a party you gotta make sure you have the necessary party supplies like 1) jello shooters, 2) drinking games, 3) a shrimp ring and 4) great music (probably the most important ingredient). One party supply you should never forget is the Brooklyn NYC band (conveniently named), “Party Supplies” (kinda nice of them to help us out with remembering to add them to our list isn’t it?!

“Tough Love” is the title of Party Supplies first album. On it you’ll find 9 tracks with a Nu-Disco / Electro-Rock / Pop vibe. Two tracks from the album I’m showcasing below. The album was just released on August 27th. You can buy the mp3’s from 7Digital (one of my favourite places to buy music).

Both tracks below were brought to my attention by two different Indie Underground Wednesday (facebook event) faithful. That’s one of the beautiful things about Indie Underground Wednesdays at Call The Office. People come every week get exposed to new music that I spin AND I also learn from them! It’s a ever-growing organic nucleus of music sharing the best of today’s Indie / Alt Dance Music! (Thanks Jamie & Chris!)

This was the first song I heard by Party Supplies. An infectious Nu-Disco vibe that just makes your body come alive on the dance floor.

This second track I just heard tonight and the more I listen the more I wonder if it will surpass my love of the the above “New York 2017”. It has more of an electro-rock / pop vibe.

1. New York 2017
2. Cherry Valley
3. Working Out
4. Going Back To New York

7. A Perfect Life
