Australian Indie Alt Electro-Pop Band, Cut Copy are on the verge of releasing their 4th full length album (November 5th) called, “Free Your Mind” which is also the name of their title track. This album comes after their successful 2011 album, Zonoscope.

I’m absolutely in love with the the 1st track, “Free Your Mind” which I’ve DJ’ed at Indie Underground Wednesdays at Call The Office (Facebook Event Link) a couple times now AND it’s gone over really well! The 2nd track, “We Are Explorers” I heard a couple days ago which really got me excited to hear the entire album. The 3rd track on the album is “Let Me Show You Love” which is a little bit of a disappointment for me as the track doesn’t really seem to go anywhere. Hearing it for the first time in July got me a little scared of what was to come as it was the 2nd track I heard off the album. That said, I should have known better! Not all songs are created equally. Other notable tracks on the album are “Take Me Higher” (and it does!) as well as “In Memory Capsule”.

I love how Cut Copy’s music style and enthusiasm hasn’t wavered since their first album. They continue to create quality electro-pop based dance tracks that have a certain infectious positive vibe about them.

I can’t wait to see Cut Copy in Toronto at The Danforth Music Hall on Friday November 15th! [Get Tickets]. It will be my 2nd time seeing the Aussies live!

Stream Cut Copy’s album, “Free Your Mind” Below (If you’re not doing it already)!

Thanks Geoff for the heads up on the album stream!
