Born of Lightning and Thunder comes the Noise-Punk / Rock Gods, I Smell Blood (London ON) and their new album, “Manface” – Released today (July 5th, 2014) via Out Of Sound Records.

The duo does a great job taking their music to the brink of losing control, but ends up keeping a Godly-like wondrous grip through the sweat, exhaustion, blisters and blood that thrills live audiences. I first saw I Smell Blood perform during Record Store Day at Grooves Records a few months ago. After every song, the crowd roared back with cheers and appreciation. This seemed to fuel the two-piece’s rock-power as things moved noticeably to another (crazy) level.

Have a listen to I Smell Blood’s single, “Taxidermized Bear Claw”…

Today also signifies the start of the duo’s South-Western Ontario tour that begins at the brand new venue, VibraFusionLab in London. The band then heads to Toronto and so on (check tour dates below).

“Definitely a highlight of NXNE so far” – Torontoist tweet

The track, “Trans Dimensional Cipher-Sexual” could be my favourite on the new album, maybe “911 Hit Wonder”. Regardless of my favourites, it’s time to cue the drumroll and stream I Smell Blood’s entire new album, “Manface”…

“Just as out of control and unexpected as the disorder itself”
