There’s quite a bit of power and emotion behind the voice and music of Toronto Musician, Clara Engel. You can hear throughout her brand new 10-track album called, “Ashes & Tangerines”. The track I’ve highlighted below is “King Temperance” which features a dramatic drum beat, an accompanying horn and Clara’s poetic vocals. At times on the album I hear similarities in Clara’s voice to London UK Post-Punk lead vocalist, Jehnny Beth of Savages. After “King Temperance” the bandcamp player will continue playing the following 6 tracks off the album. Don’t forget to the first 3 tracks if you like what you hear!

Something else that you may find interesting is that Clara Engel is traditional artist. Have a look at her artwork.
