Who’s been touring with TRUST over the last couple weeks? I’ll tell you, it’s Crater. They’re a industrial, alt pop band from Seattle, WA. The band performs as a 4-piece live, but only two members, Ceci Gomz (vocals, synths, samples), and Kessiah Gordan (drums, samples) write / create the music. The remaining members who round out the live production side are Ben Rother (from Oberhofer) (Guitar) and Lance Umble (Bass).

The song directly below, “Brew” is probably my favourite song by Crater. The industrial and vocal pairing, mixed in with some subtle manipulation gets me.

TRUST CRATERIf you’re interested in seeing Crater Live on their Tour with TRUST you have only two more chances as they play in Chicago at Lincoln Hall on Thursday Oct. 9th and then in Toronto they’re at the Danforth Music Hall (one of my favourite mid-sized venues) Friday, Oct. 10th. I’ve seen TRUST once before and loved every moment of it. Adding in Crater will only add to the night.

Here’s another track by Crater. The song is called, “Ain’t Right”. It has a little more pop in its step.
