Cut Copy has just unveiled the first of five tracks that will be released on their deluxe edition of their most recent brilliant album, “Free Your Mind” (out July 22, 2014).

The Australian band has made a wonderful habit of releasing groovy cross-genre tracks bridging gaps between synth-pop, nu-disco, electro-rock with danceable tropical flavours. Their newest track, “Lights Shine On” is spot on that leads off with electro-rock vibes but slides into with a very catchy subtle nu-disco chorus.

Other tracks that are Must Listens from Cut Copy’s “Free Your Mind” Album are: “Free Your Mind”, “We Are Explorers”, “Let Me Show You Love”, “In Memory Capsule”, “Meet Me In A House Of Love”, and “Take Me Higher”… basically you should stream Cut Copy’s newest album here before the full, deluxe version is out on July 22nd.

Also, if you like what you hear, make sure see the Aussie’s live in concert this summer as they’re travelling all over (tour listings). I’m making sure I see them in Montreal this August long weekend in Montreal. I can’t wait!
