German duo Digitalism returns!

With dashes of disco, French touch, prog rock, rave and hip-hop thrown into an eclectic sound palette, Digitalism announces that they’ll release their third LP on May 13th (Magnetism Recordings/PIAA).  The 15-track album will be called “Mirage” (pre-order).

From the full-power electro-indie of “Battlecry,” (Indie Underground’s Favourite) to the euphoric melancholy of “Utopia,” both of which premiers today and serve as welcomed reminders of the duo’s unique sensibility for storming riffs and stunning melodies. Five years on from their sophomore record “I Love You, Dude” – the German duo have wisely resisted any vogues or trends. Instead, they present a record that takes their much-loved sound and opens it up to new permutations and possibilities.

Next month, Digitalism will be embarking on a European tour and plan to visit North America later this year. They’ll be performing in Toronto on May 26th at The Garrison (Facebook Event)

Digitalism – “Battlecry”

Two other very important songs from Digitalism are:
