New Music: DINNER – “Going Out” (Indie Alternative Electro / Darkwave)

Meet my newest obsession – Dinner, born in Copenhagen, Denmark but based in LA/Berlin comes the indie alternative electro / darkwave project of Anders Rhedin.

What does Dinner sound like? If you listen to “Going Out” below, you’ll hear a healthy dose of music that resembles  some darkwave electro / synth-pop of the 80s. The vocal styles are also consistent witin that time period. I also love the John Maus vibe that I get.

Care to watch Dinner’s video for “Going Out”?! The answer is “YES!”

On September 30th, in collaboration with Texas label Red Eye Transit, Dinner will be releasing his latest effort, “Oui!”, a four-track EP that serves as an introduction to this idiosyncratic musician. Pre-order “Oui!” here via Capture Tracks. Look out for a full-length album from Dinner in 2015.

Get a little more personal with this near dating profile video of the man behind Dinner, Anders Rhedin. It’s worth a watch and a few giggles :)
