I won’t ever forget the first time I saw Operators (Dan Boeckner of Wolf Parade, Handsome Furs and currently of Divine Fits) perform live. It was back in the summer when the band revealed their 3-piece synth-tacular sound to the Silver Dollar Room enthusiastic crowd over Canadian Music Week. Hearing their first released single, “True” today, brings me back to that happy place that was first discovered just a short while ago.

Have a listen to Operator’s song, “True” and see if it’s your one true love…

If you liked that, check out Operators performance on KEXP in Seattle, where they perform my favourite song of theirs, “Ancient”.
