Public Access T.V. are a indie rock / pop band based out of downtown, New York City, U.S.A.

Growing frustrated by the “boring and played out Manhattan music scene”, John Eatherly (who’s spent time as a touring musician/session player with acts like; Eleanor Friedberger, Smith Westerns, The Virgins, Chairlift, and others) decided to put his own band together. He got a couple of his best friends to join him and complete the 70’s Punk and 90’s Brit Pop inspired band, Public Access T.V. line up was born.

Listen to Public Access T.V.’s newborn track, “In The Mirror” below, and see what what you think! The sound (somewhat) makes me think as if The Strokes and Phoenix had a magical baby together.

Pre-order the Public Access T.V. 7″ featuring the above track, “Mirror”, from Rough Trade Records, here.
