I’m summer crushin’! Why? I just listened to the music of Merritt, BC lo-fi / dream-pop / 60’s inspired band, Shimmering Stars. Their music pulled on and took my heartstrings to a higher, happier place which has led us here. So with that in mind,  I’ve decided to post the band’s first three songs from their second LP, “Bedrooms of the Nation” – out August 13, 2014.  That’s all the songs that have been released so far, so Enjoy the 3-track tease! The first song, “I Found Love” is a spectacular track.

Which song do you like best?

Shimmering Stars – “I Found Love”

Shimmering Stars – “Dérèglement”

Shimmering Stars – “Shadow Visions” (Free Mp3)

If you liked what you heard from Shimmering Stars, I highly recommend you head on over to the band’s Soundcloud page to listen to additional lovely tracks like, “Can’t Feel It” and “Slaves”. Okay, I’ve decided that I’m posting “Slaves” below, because it’s too good not to post. However, do make sure you go to Shimmering Star’s Soundcloud page to listen to “Can’t Feel It”, etc…
