Omg, I want to be friends with that bear!

Once upon a time I saw Husky from Melbourne Australia perform in Trinity Bellwoods Park when they took part in The Great Heart Festival a few years back in Toronto. The festival runs multiple days and usually falls around the same time that North by Northeast does in June. It’s wonderful event put on by Young Lions Music Club. Husky’s acoustic performance that one summer-y day (under some trees) was fantastic!

Fast forward to today and the band has just released their sophomore album titled “Ruckers Hill”. On that album is the single “I”m Not Coming Back”. The track has nostalgic tones and it’s delicate and tender and takes you to another place (just as the video does) with its surreal animation. One animation note: I could watch the van ride up that hill between those trees forever… mesmerizing.
