New Music / Video: THE DARCYS – “The River” (Indie Rock / Pop / Electro)

For the last handful of months I’ve enjoyed/appreciated just about every social media release that Indie Rock / Pop band, The Darcys (Toronto) have put forth. Arts & Crafts have truly done a spectacular job pitching the band via their website, and Instragram page @thedarcys – everything just works harmoniously. Alright, I had to say that because it’s been on my mind lately.

The Darcys have released a brand new track called, “The River”. It’s a lovely uptempo song with contrasting haunting sounding vocals. It’s all been paired with the very simple, yet engaging slow-motion video which you’ll see in a moment.

I was lucky enough to see The Darcys at in London Ontario on April 9th at Call The Office. I got to speak with lead singer, Jason Couse who’s a really nice guy! I was also fortunate to snap a few photographs of them and Montreal Band, SUUNS. See the photos here.
