One of Indie Underground’s Best (Favourite) Songs of 2014 (listen) just got a really creative video. The song is the perfectly articulated electro-pop track, “Carpe Jugular” from Toronto band, The Hidden Cameras.
The cinematic video illustrates the highs and lows that people subject themselves to when opening up or closing themselves off to others at a bar. Internal emotions are displayed on the outside as ongoing scars / love wounds from rejection. Clearly, the video shows that Love truly is a battlefield (ahem) and what goes around, comes around!
Really happy that such a good song got a fantastic video. Directed by Kai Staenicke, Cinematography by Thomas Schneider and Edited by Susanne Ocklitz.
