Zola Blood (Hackney, England) have announced a new single titled “Play Out”. The new track follows up their intriguing debut “Meridian” EP that was released in 2014.

“Play Out” chronicles a late-night meeting over a wave of tumbling synthesizers and pounding beats; a rich, denser sound than anything on the “Meridian” EP, the track draws from techno influences while setting the ethereal vocals of Matt West against a sea of vocal samples and arpeggios.

“Play Out” will be released on Pond Life Songs on the 4th of September as a part of an upcoming two-track EP.
