Eerie and chilling and at other times joyous and upbeat, Wild Domestic present a vast, yet mere shadow of what the band is when seen live on their self-titled debut. There is something about the dual drumming, three-part melodies, soaring guitars, and driving bass that takes you over. Listen to a Sample Below:
The Bettys are a burlesque revival that riffs on torch singers of the 30’s and 40’s & the golden age of swing and big band. Jazz vocalists Lisette St. Louis, Olivia McLean, and Patty Pedersen bring a sassy edge to modern classics like Eye of the Tiger that will have you hanging up the boxing gloves and reaching for a cigarello. The group incorporates their 3-part harmonies with swing, jazz and an edge of punk. Listen to a Sample Below:
The Bettys – “Dude Looks Like a Lady”
