We haven’t heard a new original release from Sydney, Australian trio, Jagwar Ma since their fantastic 2013 album, ‘Howlin’! With hits like ‘The Thow‘ or ‘Uncertainty’, the band had some pretty heavy expectations to live up to with a new drop. So did they live up to our high sophomore album expectations? You be the judge (tell us what song you like best – just say what you feel *cough*), but first, you should start with Indie Underground’s favourite song from Jagwar Ma’s new eleven-track album, ‘Every Now & Then’. The honest, upbeat track ‘Say What You Feel‘ offers a beautiful sparkling ’60s guitar melody and baseline that mixes progressively into a well-articulated entanglement of those classic Jagwar Ma electronic / psych-dance vibes!

I was lucky enough to experience Jagwar Ma’s exciting, beat and flashing light-driven live show a few years ago in Osheaga (Montreal). Luckily, the Aussies are again on tour and have dates (see below) in Canada (Toronto, Montreal), the US, UK and Aus.

Order Jagwar Ma’s new LP, ‘Every Now & Then’ from their website!
