Clearly, synthpop duo, Joan (Alan Thomas and Steven Rutherford) found an excellent time traveling telephone booth, channeled the power of GreySkull and captured all the curious, nervous, playful and absolutely amazing Pretty In Pink vibes that two teens innocently have discovered after meeting on a dance floor, where they kiss for the very… first… time. Who knows how long the duo was there and what other positive vibes they captured for their future releases, but one thing’s for sure, they’re safe and sound now, back in good old 2017 and have released very uplifting synthpop track, ‘Take Me On’ – Have a listen below!

Joan (Brooklyn) are a new indie pop pair who write modern songs inspired by 80s pop and 90s R&B, echoing music that once blasted from the boombox in your attic. The pair only met a few months ago after playing show together while in different projects and became fast friends. ‘Take Me On’ is Co-produced and mixed by Tim Pagnotta (Walk the Moon, St. Lucia, Wild Belle, Saint Motel).
