There’s nothing quite like hearing a band or song for the first time. The musical journey could go in many directions, especially when there are multiple genres being tapped into. Luckily, Hollow Coats proves that they know exactly what they’re doing as they delicately weave a collection of genres that include indie rock, electronic, trip hop, alt R&B and soul into one profound beat-infused waveform titled, ‘Fold’.

Hailing from Austin, Tx., Hollow Coats is the collaboration of composer Michael Wisdom, singer/songwriter Adam Diener, and producer Bryan Ray. In early 2016, composer Michael Wisdom (formerly of The Digital Wild) found himself searching for a new musical mission. Almost immediately his attention was captured by singer/songwriter Adam Diener’s (Obsolete Machines) inspiring lyrics and soaring vocals. Combining Wisdom’s rhythmic tendencies and Diener’s avant-garde vocal style, they began building an unmistakably unique sound. Soon after, they reached out to friend, multi-instrumentalist, and producer extraordinaire Bryan Ray (Lonely Child, Mobley) whose studio prowess elevates their sound even further.
