We are pleased to announce the nominations for the 2022 Canadian Folk Music Awards from different parts of the world.<\/p>\n<p>The nominees are to honor Canada&#8217;s robust, diversified, and internationally known folk music industry. The selection process, which includes a two-stage jury process, is done by more than 100 jurors from throughout the country.<\/p>\n<p>The CFMAs revealed that song entries were now available to be presented in more than one songwriting segment, given they met the classification demands. &#8216;Global Roots Album of the Year&#8217; is the new title for &#8216;World Album of the Year.&#8217;<\/p>\n<p>Those interested in attending the CMFA 2022 Awards in Charlottetown can sign up for the folkawards.ca\/ mailing list to receive updates on future activities, promotions, and awarding day information.<\/p>\n<p>Here are some of the nominees for the 2022 Canadian Folk Music Award:<\/p>\n<h3><strong>Canadian Folk Music Award<\/strong><\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Believe in Your Magic Penny Pom Pom<\/li>\n<li>Children\u2019s Album of the Year<\/li>\n<li>Children\u2019s Album of the Year<\/li>\n<li>Falling in Africa Garth Prince<\/li>\n<li>Think About the Wild Remy Rodden<\/li>\n<li>Heart Parade Splash\u2019N Boots<\/li>\n<li>Campfire Time!
