The Canadian Folk Music Awards (17th) will be held in Charlottetown, PEI, from April 1 to 3, 2022. We are pleased to announce the nominations for the 2022 Canadian Folk Music Awards from different parts of the world.
The nominees are to honor Canada’s robust, diversified, and internationally known folk music industry. The selection process, which includes a two-stage jury process, is done by more than 100 jurors from throughout the country.
The CFMAs revealed that song entries were now available to be presented in more than one songwriting segment, given they met the classification demands. ‘Global Roots Album of the Year’ is the new title for ‘World Album of the Year.’
